มีเรื่องน่าแปลกที่เกิดขึ้น อยู่เสมอจนถึงปัจจุบันนี้ คือ บริเวณตรงข้ามบ้านที่แม่เธออยู่จะมีสวนอินทผาลัม ซึ่งจะมีหนอนชนิดหนึ่ง ตัวขนาดนิ้วก้อย ลำตัวสีเหลืองๆ มีขนเต็มตัว จำนวนมาก หนอนพวกนี้จะมีกิจวัตรประจำวัน คือ เดินข้ามฟากถนนมายังบริเวณหมู่บ้านซึ่งรวมถึงบ้านของแม่ของเธอด้วย เดินทางมาเป็นกองทัพหนอน เกาะอยู่ตามกำแพงบ้านเต็มไปหมด แต่โชคร้ายที่บ้านแม่ของเธอกำแพงไม่หนาแน่นพอ ทำให้หนอนพวกนี้สามารถเดินผ่านกำแพง และมุดทะลุเข้าไปถึงในบ้าน แล้วกัดแม่ของเธอที่ตามองไม่เห็นจนเป็นแผลน่าสงสารมาก
